Thanks to WAVY-TV for helping us at our latest Farmer’s Market mobile food pantry distribution. You helped to feed over 200 households in the Southeast Newport News Community. The Virginia Peninsula Foodbank holds a distribution on the last Friday of every month in an effort to help local residents who live in that food desert.  A new grocery store, Jim’s Local Market, is expected to open in the Spring to better serve this community.  #WAVY
